Gel or Acrylic?

There are many different styles of nails you can get. You can get either gel nails or acrylic nails. The gel nail is more natural looking, *glossy* and more *expensive* that acrylic but it doesn’t last. Acrylic nails have more damage to your real nails, but they last longer because of the glue holding strong. Both nails look *very attractive* in comparison to the natural nail, but they are *costly*. Gel nails & acrylic nails normally range from $30-$80. Now when your first getting nails, your first set is going to cost a lot more then your monthly fills. Monthly fills usually range from $35-$45. If you ends up that you break a nail or two then you can make an *appointment* to get them fixed. This cost is usually $4-$5 a nail. The actual procedure of getting gel or acrylic nails takes about *two hours* for the first set and *one hour* for the monthly fills. Just because you get your first set doesn’t mean you have to keep getting monthly fills, but it is cheaper to do this. Just remember that it does effect your natural nail and when you do get your gel or acrylic nails off it is wise to wait at least a month to let your natural nail gain back its strength. While you have your new nails it would be a good idea to eat lots of gelliton. Foods such as *gummy bears* and *jello* have lots of gelliton that helps keep your nails strong. Another wise thing to do is get lots of sleep. This is also a good way of keeping your nails STRONG so they don’t break and you don’t have to spend that *extra money* to get them fixed. Now that you have learned a bit about gel and acrylic nails it is time to decide what kind of COLOURS and DESIGNS you would like on your nails. Depending on where you go, they will have a different range of colours and designs there for you to choose from. Just make sure to *ASK* to see them. *Don’t be shy!* The main reason people get nails is for luxury and relaxation.
So just have fun!
